BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Account receivable is a broad notion in the banking or financial sectors that concentrates on timing and measurement. The term "account receivable" suggests a problem with timing and measurement. The account to be identified in most receivable transactions is the exchange price between the two parties, which is the seller and the receiver; the trading price is thus the amount for the debtor (a purchaser or a borrower) and is generally substantiated by some type of business document after an invoice (Gortfiedd 2015). Price computation can be influenced by two factors which is the time elapsed between the transaction and the payment due date and discount available.
This project will largely focus on receivables, the numerous obstacles that account receivables encounter, and how such problems may be avoided. Because the computer is expected to symbolize the degree of relevance, much attention will be focused on how these accounts receivable may be digitised. Account receivable is a fundamental component of accounting. Before utilising a computer as a device to monitor and handle a firm's account receivable, such as Anammco Ltd, Emene, Enugu, it is important to be acquitted or declared with verse knowledge of the computer. The computer may clearly demonstrate the various receivable transactions while the computer owns accruable business transactions and the nature of the profits made by the firm or organisation. The various percentages that illustrate that the corporate cuts or rises may be determined by suing the company to show for it. In general, computers have considerably assisted businesses, industries, and banks.
According to Aguboshim (2016), accountants make it simpler for customers to engage with computers by demonstrating their everyday interest in how computers record their transactions for future use. The computer has been quite useful, and I want to use the system; my primary concentration will be on accounts receivable. The numerous methods in which account receivable is achieved for the procurement of items and services with money used for business transactions that is received in return will be debited within this text of the account receivable system.
